I never heard she had a actural name. All the stories I've read refered to her as little red cap or little riding hood. I don't think she had a name.

It's a story - fiction. Her name was little red riding hood. And the wolf's name was wolf. And the grandma's name was grandma. I repeat, it's a story.

In the original tale by Charles Perrault (17th century French writer) she was never referred to with a proper name but only as "Le petit chaperon rouge".
We will never know...
The tale has been adapted and some people have invented names, but she was definitely nameless in the original tale.
