Are We 'NOW' Seeing What Democracy Means To A Muslim?
Is Democracy something blood soaked Muslims and Islamic Fascists are not ready for, NOR interested in, NOR sane, rational, fair minded, and literate enough to even consider exercising, like free thought or free choice?

Islam is a religion of mind numbing control, disturbing abuse of women intellectually and physically, mayhem, murder, suicide, hell death and the grave.

Democracy requires education and a slightly evolved human spirit.

It seems from what we see, Muslims will NEVER be ready for democracy, not in this century ... or the next?

Until EVERY Jew is dead and every American in that order...then the Brits, perhaps then the Local Muslim Warlord might allow elections so the region under his control can do ... what else?

Vote for his brother !!

I will respond directly to the question, No, you're wrong, democracy is not suitable for some muslims, but not for Islam, like u said these muslims u talked about lack education and culture, and this is why they're not democratic, and not because of islam, in fact, there is lot of democratic islamic countries.
From other side, in lebanon, the problem is not muslims, it is a lot of factors that go together to make conflicts in lebanon, like Israel, Syria,Iran... by the way, lebanese people(in general) are well educated, and have a lot of "human spirit".

Let us not generalize a community or religion for adopting a system of governance. Then the question arises what exactly you mean by the word democracy? Why should somebody adopt that system alone. China is not an Islamic Nation, and they have adopted a system of Government which is successful in responding to the needs of its citizen. I am a non-Muslim citizen of India. We claim to be the largest working democracy in the World, but, the votes are mostly polled on considerations of Religion, Caste and Community. Reservations in Education, Government jobs and even in election of representatives are made on Caste-lines. Each Country evolves its own system of Governance. Why should it be an American or western type of Democracy only?.

you're pretty ignorant, and rude to boot. you need to realise that Lebanon is not a Muslim country, but a country which espouses religious tolerance. It has triumverate rule; meaning ruled by representatives of Muslim, Jewish and Christians. They might to better to separate church from state, but their system was for years highly successful. the problem with Lebanon is Israel. Look at the history of the region over the past century. How did Lebanon go from being the Switzerland of the middle east to the muddled harrassed state it is today? what changed?
inform yourself before launching into diatribes that just make you look bigotted and, frankly, stupid
but have a good day, eh

Ignorance thy name is baltic072. i don't know where you got this from and i quote, "Islam is a religion of mind numbing control, disturbing abuse of women intellectually and physically, mayhem, murder, suicide, hell death and the grave." Islam is a peaceful religion and in my eyes offers more rights to women then it does to men. We have the right to work and the right of education. Education is obligatory upon everyone. I'm a Muslim women and i live in a Muslim country and i don't see any of that happening, i going to Oxford in two years, how is that abusing women intellectually?? So please to comment on something you don't have proper facts or information of. My country is a democratic country, fine, but different systems of government work in different countries, Democracy is not for everyone!! Why is that that almost every American thinks that any country that's a bot different then them is a threat!! And i wonder whose getting killed in Iraq and Afghanistan, hmm lets see, Innocnet Muslims. Who declared wars on these countries for absolutely false reasons, Bush!!
So i suggest you to try to open your extremely narrow minded brain and try to see what is actually happening in the world.

Well to be honest Sunnis are ready for democracy but Shiites are still not ready, they want the old way of living which can't now bring good.

Lebanon's current govt. is fully democracy and it should not fall down.
