India media has started praising Kharthik,Mongia and shewag!!
the desision of throwing out should not change!this peformance can assure them atleast ten games!!
that 's why india is not improving!
praising and critisizing should be constructive!
Neither we should praise weak performance because we have won, neither we should critisize because we have lost!!

A very shaky control on the match by the team India though they have won the match. I would rate this match as a fluck.

i agree. the basis of criticism should be that of how the player looked when in the middle and not blindly the fact that he got out. i say this because there can be cases where a batsman has been dropped because of apparent underperformance in the match, and yet could be in form and the victim of a good delivery.

at the same time, a player must not be glorified beyond measure simply because he played well in one or two matches and allocated a place in the side for an indefinite period.

it is important to observe and note the manner in which the players bowled, batted and fielded and not simply the fact that they won or lost.

in sehwag's case i wouldn't recommend his exclusion from the team. the role that he plays in the team's fortunes, admittedly when in form and valuing his wicket, is much too precious to be ignored. perhaps a simple matter of trusting his abilities to reemerge is in order. it is true that he has showed no signs of valuing his wicket for more than a few smattered runs here and there recently, but his lack of form is just a parallel to the form of the team as a whole. and that makes me believe that his return to form can be more directly related to the overall performance of the team than people seem to be realize.

the team's (and sehwag's) performance in the twenty20 match should be of some relief and somehow the team's morale on the playing field seemed to have been lifted, as showed some agile and commited fielding.

i feel mongia should be persisted with and alse think that karthik will feature in the home series to follow.

it may be that the indian team's cause was helped by a relatively less potent south african attack as players key to india's travails in the odis like ntini, pollock and nel were excluded from the 2020 side, but that should not detract from the much improved indian batting performance in the match. one must remember that it was not totally thanks to the ntinis and the pollocks that the indians struggled against and that their poor batting form dates back to ever since the 2nd odi of the west indian tour. so their controlled run chase evinced a rush of form and confidence into the indian ranks.

it was just a coinicidence that india performed badly all these months. now i feel they are getting it right once more. let's hope eh?

I strongly feel that praising one opr two good [performance and criticising one or two bad performance are to some extent spoiling our players. One should assess a plahyer and pass any comment after see how he is performing in coupl.e of games. Once a player is selected in the team based on his talent, he should be given sufficient opportunities to show his mettle as every player will have good or bad time in his carreer.

At least they didn't get bowled out in 20 overs. That's a big improvement. As the tour goes on, the batting will begin to fall in place.
