Every employer has different requirements. I had a surgery and they wanted a note. If they ask for it give it to them. Let the baby have his bottle. To me, a job is just a paycheck and a health insurance card. Don't let 'em get to ya!

There are those employers that do request a doctors slip for any sick days taken. Usually though, the norm is if you miss 3 days of work you have to have a slip.

The only time you normally would need a Dr. note for work is, if you miss 3 days in a row.
