Hi, I had my braces of when i 16, it was such an exciting day! Again i had the same problem, i wanted my teeth to be white as my prom was in less than a month. It was difficult to get them white within a month, but now i have found that collgate whitening is the best for me and if you drink tea or coffee or smoke its going to be much harder to get your teeth white. Just keep brushing and mabe ask your dentist if there if anything that they would recommend. Good Luck.

YAY!! lol i remember when i got my braces off a few months ago i was reallyyyy excited too =)
and there are whitening toothpastes you can use...such as crest or cologate...i heard those were really good
crest whiting strips work well too! and now you can get them everywhere and its not too expensive
trident white! gum can also whiten teeth...but that might take a little longer
and to use makeup...i heard that using tints such as rasberry or wine base lip gloss/ lip stick and make ur teeth seem whiter..also a colored lip gloss can bring out your lips and ur straight teeth!
eating more foods like apples or celery can also help since they clean your teeth while you chew it

Yah, i got my braces removed recently too! You will notice now that it is MUCH easier to brush your teeth without braces so just brush them twice a day and try avoid food like candy and coke.
I couldn't stop licking my teeth...

Brush with Pearl Drops polish, they have a range that make teeth sparkle. And use a lipstick which is blue-based, cant beat a pure red!

You're dentist didn't tell you when he took them off? Strange.
I don't know how effective they are but you can buy teeth whitening kits that you put in at night. They're a bit like gum guards that you fill with a solution.. but really I'd ask my dentist for his advice!

Aside from the cleaning stuff, it's always written that bluish-red lipstick will make teeth appear whiter. I don't know...I look like a monkey's butt when I wear red, so I can't tell you if that works for sure.
