Where is the best place on you eyelid to place some glitter? The outter corner? I dont want to much just a lil to sparkle sometimes. thnx xxx

In my opinion, the best spot is the inner corner of the eye...it usually looks dazzling!

I usually use a angled brush and dab the bristles in the glitter, the run the brush across the eyelid just above the eyelashes. Looks amazing especially at night! For even more staying power use some make up sealer of some description. I know Napoleon have some.

Complete your makeup before applying glitter to your face. Using a very small amount of glitter, dab it gently near the eyes, just above the lash tips or at the outer corners of the eyes.

Glitter around the eyes is a sign of coming on too strong and not of tasteful makeup.
Glitter across chest and shoulders is cute, keep it off the face, roll some clothes it will wash off.

i always add a little sparkle at xmas. you've got the right idea. i usually add sparkle when doing smoky eyes so ive added my stages below:
when i go for smoky eyes i always follow these stages:
- black liquid eye liner (with small flicks at the end of my eyes)
- add a neutral colour all over lids
- next a soft pink colour (as its great with brown eyes) on to lids and just above the crease
- next a soft grey colour up to crease on lid and under eye (on outer edge only)
- next a black colour just along the outer edge of eye (both ontop and underneath) this should be just a thin line along your eye liner line (definitely not upto crease)
- finally add mascara
- for an extra sparkly touch add sparkle liner along the top of eye where you originally put your black eye liner. (u can get this online from avon (avon combo of sparkle clear liner and mascara) its great for xmas
hope that all made sense, if not post a note and ill try to make it clearer...definetly have a go tho coz you'll find you'll love it...i wear mine like this most weekends when I'm out...guarantee you'll get loads of comments asking how you did it so you can pass on this info too.

I use the Urban Decay glitter gel eyeliner along my lids, as if it were normal eyeliner. Makes my eyes look huuuge!

Your idea would work, but it always fun to mix it up. Another option is to put a bit on your finger and blend right at the lash line. This is what my GF always does.
