Miracle of 34th Street is really good
Santa Claus the Movie was good too
The Grinch was funny
Elf - another laugh out loud one
Not really a christmas ones but shown every year are the original Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and The Princess Bride.

Love them both and have to watch them.......

I do get quite excited about Christmas, but think it gets a bit bad that shops do non stop advertising and have their decorations up in November...........

3 Weeks to go.......

Hope everyone has a good one....

For really young kids you've got to watch the Muppets Christmas Carol. And for older kids (and adults) you've got to watch It's a Wonderful Life. Both are great Christmas movies.

And no, I'm not excited yet. Ask me in 3 weeks when I've finished work.

I grew up watching 'How the Grinch Stole Christmas', "Home Alone 1 &2' and 'Rudolph the Rednosed Reindeer'. I like the newer movies like 'The Santa Clause' and 'The Grinch' too... and I really can't wait to see The Nativity Story, which I think is a good one for kids to watch to, so they'll remember the actual reason for the holday.

I am totally psyched. I already watched "Elf" twice, which totally is a hilarous movie, and Zooey Deschanel is beautiful and I love her. Also..I'm looking forward to watching "It's a Wonderful Life", and "One Magic Christmas", two movies which are generations apart but have a lot in common. Also...Home Alone is actually a nice Christmas movie, I still cry at the end when his parents come home and he says "I got tha milk, the eggs, and the fabric softener!"

Muppet's Christmas Carol for me too but then I love the Muppets and have all their other festive releases too. And I'm an adult. I always associate Miss Marple films with Christmas too (the Joan Hickson ones). Even though they're not actually Christmas films, they would always be on.

I picked up a Xmas box set from wallmart, it has
1.Frosty the Snowman
2. Rudolph the red nose reindeer
3. Santa claus is coming to town
4. The little drummer boy

The old xmas cartoons from the 60's great classics.
