I was due with my third child around xmas but she come after. Be prepared, have everything ready just in case. Leave instruction for your partner and family. Make sure you talk to your girls about what if mummy has the baby on xmas day or xmas eve, so they are also prepared. Your girls will think the baby is the best present that they could have got. Enjoy your xmas and your new baby. Good luck.

I am also due on boxing day with number three, this will be my second Christmas baby, bit frustrating as we can't make many plans over the Xmas period but am excited all the same.

I was involved in a RTA two weeks ago and since then I have been having contractions on and off and had a show so this baby may not be a Christmas one after all.

Good luck I hope everything goes well for you.

I had twins the week before xmas last year & I was very concerned about being in hospital on xmas day as it was my daughters 1st real xmas (she was only 2 months old the xmas before that). I can understand where you're coming from, it's not nice to be away from your family at xmas so I shall keep my fingers crossed for you, good luck x

I'm 37 weeks also, and due December 21st! I just really hope my baby doesn't come on Christmas...poor guy wouldn't get much of a birthday! I've been having a lot of pressure down there, and sharp pains. Also been getting a lot of braxton hicks contractions. I'm really anxious to get this over with and see my baby boy! This is my first :)

Good luck and congrats :) We're almost there!!!

i am due on xmas.....

im very excited...this is my first baby (its a girl), and me and my husband just wait for the moment we have to head to the hospital....i can feel that she has dropped and ive started to get contractions, but nothing in a pattern, so i know its false labor.....i go back to the doctor on monday and im hoping she will tell me ive started to dilate or im starting to efface!!!

i KNOW she wont stay in there until xmas....so im just redy to get the show on the road!!!!

if you have the feeling that the little one is coming soon, i would get in all the time you can NOW with your girls...and relax!!!!!!!

congrats to you!!!
