You need to know the motherboard model to download the VGA card. If you are using intel motherboard download the drivers form http://intel.com .. If you are using some other companys board try http://www.driverguide.com/.

Go to the Compaq website and download the right driver for your desktop

NO,, you can not,,, you have to download the driver from the website of the company,, you have to remove your VGA card to read its model and chips number to download the correct version,,, Of course you have to do that using another computer

no. driverguide.com once you have the name of your card or board graphic..if you dont know, go to belarc.com download the free advisor and get the name that way.
