It is more a question of looking within yourself.The world will different if you make an adjustment. To feel depressed or outraged over the issues of others will be a self-defeating process.
You contain yourself and meditate, and be a bit firm on occasions when others try to dominate. You can rule the world provided your are strong and tactful.

Young men are complete wankers. With only some exceptions.
They might grow out of it. I think they are at an age when they have to show off to their buddies and being a jerk is just part of that. If they do this, then they are not worth knowing as they will treat you like ****.
Just concentrate on making yourself happy, so that way when you find a guy, you haven't been wasting your time, a guy has found you.
If a guy says he will call you and hasn't called a week, then don't talk to him at all. unless he was in hospital or something equally serious. If they don't call, cut your losses and move on. There are plenty of guys out there. Eventually you will find some one that will treat you with respect and kindness.

I try not to be a jerk. I really like this girl and when I say like I mean like respect her and her feelings and I feel my only purpose is to make her happy. It doesn't change for me I will always feel that way. I'm not the brightest crayon in the box so it is hard for me to get close to her. It always seems that the jerks get the attention and thats why they do it, and guys like me get shoved asside.

well from another womans point of view, not all are jerks, but there slim to none. You can't live with them & you can't killl them, so you just deal with their sh*t.
