ISO may mean so many things. As an investor, it is defined as an Initial Stock Offering. This is the OPENING stock price as the stock is made available to investors for the first time. A good example would be the animation company Pixar after it's IPO around the time TOY STORY came out in theaters. EVERYONE wanted to invest it it then. Cartoons have never been the same since!
