People get pressurised by families to get married despite knowing that it has a lot of problems that cannot be resolved

Im sorry my friend but your understanding of the issue is very infantile.
Yes marriage does have its unique set of issues attached to it, but those issues are present even in a live-in relationship. These are issues that will inevitably arise whenever you have two individuals coming together in any sort of partnership - marriage or otherwise.
Its a matter of how well you understand your partner/ spouse, and about how much you respect each other's freedom and space. As long as you are aware of the fact that your partner's freedom of action and choice is as important as your own, you will cut down on conflict. As soon as you develop that mutual respect, you find that you are willing to, at times, adjust your own needs/ desires/ freedom in order to accommodate your partner.
I guess what Im trying to tell you is that if you are free to make adjustments to your life of your own accord, you will do so more willingly and without conflict. Problems arise only when one person in a relationship looses that freedom of choice.
When people say that marriage is about making adjustments, they are right. But I believe these adjustments should be an individual's choice, not a forced decision.
As far as getting pressurized into marriage is concerned, again its a matter of your freedom to choose. You are the ultimate decision making authority in your life. You always have a choice - to buckle under pressure, or stand by your own convictions. If your reasons are sound, you will have no problem resisting this pressure. If not, then you need to rethink your attitude. Maybe your resistance to marriage is only due to your fear of the "unknown" of marriage!!! Think about it.

One has to get married not only for marriage but for companionship .Trust ,honesty compromise. understanign love should b visible n existing when u do marriage if u leave one option ur marriage life will come down in a jiffy u will b all alone ..so think as marriage is not jsut the liscence to sex nor its sex between two thighs but companionship in the older age when ur children are also married n that time if ur hubby is alive u can b with him or her hunny buns

Who said it is? no one has to get married if they do not wish to.
One can only get married if it is their desire to do so and they find a partner that they love and adore and will keep the wedding vows to For richer for poorer, sickness and in health, to death us do part. Before making those vows one has to be very sure that they can keep them.
Marriage is a wonderful blessing but only if it is the hearts desire, if not, then stay single and make happiness in your life. There are many millions of single people all over the planet who have no wish to be married, they are happy and hard working. So, if it is not right for you, DONT

I think you haven't seen good married couples or you might be enjoying living sole life otherwise your question would have been the other way. To marry means to merge (two soul). Woman have some special qualities which man don't and vice-a-versa which only marriage can make possible. It is also possible that you might be looking at girl only for lust/ sex and no human-being. Atlast those who want to develop : marry.

Nobody can tell you that it is important to be married. Because it is not. You could take sanyas and just remain unmarried for the rest of your life or until you feel the need to marry. It is your decision how to find real fulfilment in your life.

what sort of problem you r talking about dear which relationship is free from problem. sorry to say but you should admit that you are afraid of taking responsibility.
and tell m you don't want that at the end of the day their is one who cares for you, who stand by you, who always love you, with whom you can spend some memorable time.
