I had several! Why, oh why would a company discontinue a great product with a cult following? As far as cosmetics go, if a woman finds something she loves, she will buy for life. I don't get it. You just know some corporate weenies decide to faze out the old in favor of new for marketing.

I hate it when that happens! The products I love most and are dependent on always get discontinued. Same with scents at Victoria's Secret. They always stop carrying the ones I love. Corporate weenies suck!

yes, it's really annoying. I remember reading years ago that a favourite lipstick of Sophia Loren was discontinued, but she sourced the manufacturer and bought up the entire stock that was left over! Well, we can't all do that, but I've found Ebay is a great place to go looking for discontinued lines. You can put a 'search' in ebay to mail you when the item comes up for sale, or you can put something on 'want it now' - it's free to the buyer - and people can contact you if they have your product.

Everything seems to end up on ebay these days and cosmetics tend to go really cheaply too so it's worth looking there for something you really love.

I had the same problem a while back. I tried another one of their products and luckily it was similar. I think the problem with the makeup I loved that was discontinued was it eliminated the need for concealer and powder. It seems that they were losing some sales because of it.

Something can't be too good, you know.

Blah, i know! stupid cosmetic companies. You're right, once i have found something i like i always stick with it (unless of coarse it gets discontinued) There was this fantastic eyeshadow by Urban Decay they stopped making and i almost had a heart attack.I just kept trying different stuff to see if there was anything that could compare, there wasn't really but...whatcha gonna do? haha. sorry about your makeup loss.

i like mark. less costly, severe high quality products that study to the costly producers like Mac, and so on. All of their cosmetics are $4-18 and maximum of them are customizable and are available in handy packaging.

yeah. Avon has a thing where it tells you what color matches the old one though.
