Opinions count, but thought patterns and use of words really fascinate me about others...

Has anyone experienced something similar, about others?

Yes, I do.

Why talk of anyone else...... I find your style of thinking and use of English language very attractive, although haven't yet made up my mind about your opinions and views.

On the other hand, some of the people here really repel me with their use of language and train of thoughts.

to your first question: I think that i can't help going back to the style of thinking that it seems i have been born with.

second: yes, it seems that is what makes us be able to understand others is this phenomenon of thought patterns. Although not a single cell in our body is the same every seven years, the mental changes that are made same to conform to some type of innate thought process.

I find myself attracted to people who are thinkers period. They do not have to share my way of thinking, just the fact that they are interested in something and have developed their own ideas fascinates me. People who never question or think for themselves are boring and quite sad.

Yeah. Our thinking is by our character, experiences and environment. Sometimes i do. Like if a person believes people are selfish, the more selfish he would be inorder to protect himself from the selfishness of others. Something like that.

Yes, I think that's true. Once you've studies Logic and Philosophy, you can quickly discern where a person is coming from and whether or not their opinions and arguments make sense.

Yeah, in a way, I like being with people who use their logic and think outside the box. I don't find myself getting along with people who don't look at information in from of them and use common sense.

you know your phrases put in my mind different names;
on thinking of thought patterns I usually think of David Hume, Bacon and James Joyce.

While the use of words and expressing ideas in words always takes me to poetry.

I believe nowadays I don't find many people you can listen attentively to them and find much coherence . we are living in the age of non-sense my friend.

Yes, that is why I like book TV. And CSPAN. This guy wrote this book about rats in Manhattan, and the rats were this thin veneer for his wild observations.

Yes I'm attracted to thinking akin to my own! When someone is on my wavelength, thinks like me & communicates in ways that I relate to it's extremely attractive! Or perhaps that's just vanity on my part...I think that's only natural though. We are drawn to those who reinforce our own ideas & who speak our language...
