What is the recommended food for a papaya plant?

I have a young tree which has grown to 5ft,its looking a bit skinny what should I feed it?

Miracle Gro is my favorite all around fertilizer. Make 3 or 4 holes around the drip line (where water would drip off of the leaves onto the ground) by driving pvc pipe into the ground to a depth of 4 to 6 inches. Pour fertilizer (of your choice, even slow release like Osmocote) down these holes.
