i was just wondering if you can put CD's onto an iPod because i am thinking about one for christmas but im not interested if you cant. please help if you can!

yes you definitely can - you just need to buy the ipod, install the software called iTunes, and it walks you step by step through the process of "ripping" CDs (turning your CD tracks into MP3 files) - first, it installs the files on your hard drive of your computer and you will see the songs in the iTunes software... then, you transfer them to the ipod. its very easy once you have this all in front of you - though my explanation might have been confusing...

Yes you can...

Insert an audio CD in your computer. After a moment, the songs on the CD are listed in the iTunes window.

Click to remove the checkmark next to any songs you don't want to import into your library.

Click the Import button to add the selected songs to your library.
