When I was a child I believed in him, it was magical. I still believe in the spirit of santa, the spirit of giving and love. I get very frustrated with children these days, I teach 8 year olds, I would say that a good 3/4 of the class don't believe in Santa. All they are interested in is the material wealth of the day, who is getting the latest gaget, whose parents have spent the most. It's very sad.
I'm going to do my very best this year to convince them that he does exist. I've prepared some magical letters that will arrive from Santa and their present is all about caring and loving. So I've got my fingers crossed.

Merry Christmas

I believed in Santa when I was a little kid.

I believed in Santa when I became a father.

Now I'm a grandfather, and this Christmas, I guarantee you that Santa will show up and put smiles on my little grand-kids faces. I promise.

PS: Screw the milk and cookies. Just leave a shot of single malt scotch...thanks.

No, I believe in God. I believe santa unscrambled is SATAN and is promoted to detract from the true meaning of Christmas, the birth of Jesus. You have to admit, he's dressed all in red and sneaks into peoples houses at night while they're sleeping, he's pretty creepy. Why does this guy get more publicity on Jesus' birthday than Jesus? If you can't hear it over the internet, I'm thumping my bible as I write this.

Yes, Virginia, there really is a Santa Claus. He lives wherever the spirit of Christmas, of giving and sharing and loving exists. He lives in the heart of all men and women who selflessly give of their time, talents, and sometimes their lives.
