30 mins 3 times a week min is a very good amount this will keep You tonned and fit. But this need to be very tough exercise. Try to have one day off as well and don't work out the same part of Your body every day lets the part Your work out grow and heal.

Do not just work your arms. Make sure you work you entire body.
30 to 45 mins of strength/weight training 3 times per week with a rest day in between should be plenty. Protein shakes before or after you strength train will help also. If you want to work out every day alternate so you do upper body one day, then lower the next. Always warm up first and stretch after. Good luck.

your muscles are already determined and you wont get any new muscle. all you can do is increase the strength of the muscle and some increase in mass of the muscle by increasing its bulk. you will not add any muscle since that is set at birth.
