OK, I'm working on my userlookup. I've got a background, and I've inserted tables into it, but the text is really hard to see. I was wondering how do you make the background faded in the tables?

Go to http://www.neopets.com/~csshelp . This website has most things like removing images, changing the background and adding a marquee to your lookup.
If the link I handed to you isn't right, go to http://www.neopets.com/~tableborders , which has tables that might be much clearer.

you know what u can go ask someone this question on the neoboards - some one or the other will know html there and will surely help you out.
u can try changing the font color - rather than fading the background.
