the same old movies with the same ols story so i wondered are there still thousands of uknown stories to be told since hollywood cannot come up with something different?

Because in fact the public is not ready to see DIFFERENT, people freak out, people judge, people act stupid when they see something different. When we get a real, non-fiction, based on a true story movies people cant handle it. This is just an example: Brokeback Mountain. So that is why.

Obviousily you haven't watched all the movies avaliable, I haven't either, and I'm in my 50's. Of course, maybe you aren't paying attention to what you are watching, I don't know. Try reading the book to each great movie, like I do, it will definately give you a differnt prospective to writers, verses screenwriters, and will give you an insite to what 'producers' do.
