Salary can be high or low, mates could be good or bad personalities, environment could be comforting or tough.. it doesn't matter.
But when it comes to be respected for what you're doing, it means alot.

I think the most important thing is feeling valued. This can mean lots of things like respect from your colleagues and management. Being valued in terms of what you are paid, as well as progession an development within that role. Money is important but not always.
