Might be that you are behind a router or firewall. Are you on a private connection or at a college/office?
Most of the time online games will require that you have an incoming (listening port) you should be able to specify a port for this in your firewall/router.

maybe you have a pop up blocker it is located on the top of your page just take your mouse move it towards the top move it over a icon and leave it tell it says something if it doesn't say pop up blocker then move it onto another icon but when you fing it click it then sroll down to enable pop up blocker
