Light is not necessarily just a wave. There was a huge debate among physicists a while ago about whether to consider it a particle or wave. Now we think of it as a particle with wave like properties. I don't think anyone could say for sure how many light "waves" hit earth per day or anything quantitive like that.

If you are talking about the range of light frequencies in the visible part of the electromagnetic spectrum, that portion would go from a wavelegnth of roughly 400 nm (purple) to 700 nm (red) all colors fit in between. check the site below.

light is only one wave.but it has tow properties.
1.particle nature. and
2.wave nature.

as coming to time,
All we see that is past only.it just like this.once the light passed on the object then that reflected light and colors in that light only u can see.means u r seeing the past only.
