Of course it does heehee but then i am biased being a scot and not far from loch ness(not far being around 200 miles), our beloved nessie brings a lot of reveue to the area around the Loch Ness so who are we to argue if people want to come nessie hunting :)
but seriously there is something out there it may be a giant eel or somethig similar which could be very possible considering the depth of the loch itself

I was standing on the shore of Loch Ness wondering about the existence of Nessie, when a thunderous roar coming up the valley made us dash for the safety of our car.
Once safely enscounced in there we became aware that the roar was a couple of Jaguar military aircraft playfully flying low through the valleys of the loch.
Methinks Nessie would most certainly have raised her head and said "Shut that racket up!" if she had existed, so my conclusion is

No,

there isn't a Loch Ness monster.

(sigh...)

If she (or he) existed, there there would have been some evidence by now. Nothing has turned up, not a half-eaten fish, a chewed up boat oar, or any photos that are not fuzzy. I think Nessie is just one of those enigmatic phenomena that people fondly talk about, but nobody actually believes exist. In fact, if something did turn up, it would probably ruin everything, because the mystery would then be lost, and people couldn't write about her anymore, and all those souvenirs would have to be thrown away.

Whether she does or doesn't the phenom is a classic example of successful destination marketing. People go, look, have drinks and lunch, buy souvenirs, encourage friends to go. Makes money for the locals, gets world wide publicity. Lead on, Nessie.

As with all proof - what have you got, what can you give to science ? Nothing! A few old yarns, some cine-footage, and lots of dodgy " photos". Belief is nothing without tangible evidence, and sadly there is none, only the urge to believe.

I used to. Then i realized it would take an enormous gene pool to keep a species of this type to survive, or an immortal one?? It would take thousands of this creature to keep a population thriving this long if it was a dinosaur. If it exists, you should be able to walk across any lake that they inhabit on their backs.

People love monster stories as much as conspiracies!.
If they were both true, do you think we would find something else to dream about?.....mind you , I once saw Big-Foot in the Rockies a couple of years ago.

Yes, there has been hundreds or maybe thousands of people who saw it, because all of them had the identical description. What do you think? The atmosphere there can make people imagine things because of methane gas present and made us hallucinate.
