I say to myself as I drive past "Please be a middle-aged white man" Unfortunately, statistically speaking, 8 out of 10 are Asian drivers. I even did an experiment where I kept track of every crazy thing I saw happen on the road, as well as the ethnicity of the driver. I'm sad to report that approx. 80% were Asians. Just to make sure I wasn't coincidentally in a highly dense Asian area, I took track of 100 randomly selected cars passing by on two separate occasions. Only about 20% of the randomly selected group were Asian! I wish that my experience on the road didn't feed by stereotype.
Notice that I didn't say "All Asians are bad drivers" or "The only bad drivers on the road are Asians". That would be stupid to say so please no comments like “You’re a racist”, “Don’t stereotype”, etc. Take it as a hypothetical question if you like. If it were proven in multiple scientific studies that 80% of unsafe/inconsiderate driving was done by Asians would it be racism? Would it be a stereotype? Additionally, I’m not interested in how many accidents are caused by Asians. I already know that the statistics on actual accidents do not support my theory.

No, it wouldn't be racism. How can a fact be racist? Facts are facts, even when they make us uncomfortable.

With that statistic then it would be fair for 80% of the stops made by police to be Asian drivers. But that is 'profiling' which is illegal. Same reason they search old ladies at the airport.

I think 80% is high but as for your question a scientific study is a scientific study - and your procedure seems sound. Around here it seems to be people under 25.

I prefer having lots of Asians around. I'm pretty sure it's illegal Mexicans who do the most bad driving in my area.

I think i may have the ANSWER to your QUESTION. In ASIA, there is not much SCOPE in SPROTS as you guys have in hte WEST. So People who are THRILL SEEKERS and LOVE to have ADVENTURES go to USA or CANADA and go crazy there. So i think that Asians who cannot do much in their homeland go and do those things in the WEST ! I Think Asians are more crazy to DO these stunts than the AMERICANS themselves !
