He a fictional character, he had no father but the writer of the novel...... So the real correct answer is Joseph Campbell from whom George Lucas got the inspiration to write the film script.
The original novels were scripted by Alan Dean Foster so you even choose him.
Of course you may prefer the other answer that it is Darth Vader (A once Jedi knight called Anakin Skywalker) But that would not be as accurate as the answer above

First it was Anakin Skywalker then he turn to the dark side of the force and became Darth Vader and at the end before he died he return to be anakin Skywalker.
