I have had tremendous labia minora pain during intercourse for months now as well as urinary frequency. I have no discharge or pelvic pain. I was seen by my gyno last week and was told to take monistat 7 as well as a topical anti-inflammatory cream. I have an appointment again in mid december but im worried because I have completed the medication and am still having pain with intercourse and urinary frequency. My doctor has explained that everything looks normal and I do not have any sexually transmitted diseases. These symptoms just started happening in the past 2 months and I havnt changed anything that I am doing. I dont know what this could be but it is greatly affecting my life and I need help. Please help.

I do not use condoms so im not allergic to latex. I have had UTI's before but this is horrible. I only have burning with intercourse and i only have burning during urination after intercourse, otherwise i have urinary frequency all the time.

bladder infection, kidney infection could cause the urinary frequency as could a severe yeast infection causing intercourse pain. you may wind up needing a stronger yeast treatment, an anti-biotic and refraining from intercourse for a short time to prevent the recurring yeast problem. intercourse while having a yeast infection is not recommended if you want it cleared up. also, your partner may not be cleaning himself properly prior to intercourse and may be causing, or exacerbating the yeast problem.or infection. if he has not been circumcised he is suseptible to causing women problems when he fails to properly clean himself. your dr can be more informative on all these. don't be afraid to ask.

Are you using condoms? You could be allergic to the latex in the condoms. Urinary frequency just means you are drinking plenty of fluids. If it hurts when you urinate, then you have a urinary tract infection. Try drinking cranberry juice until you can reschedule your appointment for an earlier date.

I experienced these symtoms - urinary frequenty, each time in small amount and having pain, it was urinary infection. Why not go back to your doctor, don't wait until the appointment date. If still can't be solved, seek second opinion. Take care.

should get tested again for STD. it could be severe chlamydia which feels similar to UTI..only it's worse. you feel like urinating every 5 minutes..and when you do, nothing comes out..but there is severe burning sensation. it is either an STD or a severe case of UTI. better go get prescribed medication FAST to relieve the pain, because it won't go away without antibiotics =/
it's a terrible agonizing feeling..but u MUST get medication..try over the counter in the meantime..
