Do you mean Voodoo?
It is a doll originally made by a witch doctor that has a spell/curse on it to inflict pain on someone through the doll.
example:
If you burn the doll the person will burn.
If you stick pins in the doll the person will be stabbed.
If you twist apart of the doll leg, arm, neck, body the persons bones will brake.
