If you are attending the party, then i'd say you should definitely take them a present. I think you'd feel uncomfortable if you didn't. I'm sure they would delighted. No need for anything elaborate, remember its the thought that counts. Maybe something for the house, a plant or a bottle of bubbly!

If you are going to an anniversary party in any capacity you most certainly should take a gift. It need only be small and inexpensive but it should be something that is specifically chosen for them. Get your folks to help you choose it.
