I know his mother is English and his father is Guyanan, what religion was he brought up ? Kindly note, I'm just curious ! I have no religious biases whatsoever !

His fathers's side of the family are Hindus from Guyana (there is a sizeable Asian community in the West Indies, which is why there are several West Indies' players with Asian names: Kallicharran, Chanderpaul, Sarwan, and so on).
Mark was born in England and, because his father was not especially religious, Mark was not indoctrinated in any particular religion.

I have searched around for quite and bit and couldn't find any definite info on this. A few leads:
His name is Mark Ravin Ramprakash. The middle name Ravin does not however throw up many clues. His wife Vandana, is a Hindu of Indian origin. They even had a an Indian wedding in Birmingham.
The kids he has are named - Cara and Anya. Again, not many clues here - it could go anyway. My guess is Mark is an atheist.
