I book flights at an airline. I get calls from people with people dying and they need to fly home or an emergency. Like tonite, I got a call where this 84 man's son was dying of lung cancer and had to get to him before he died. He was sooooo sad. I had to put my call on hold and cry.

Why? Because he was poor and was weeping.
and the fare was over 750.00 and he had go. Other people buy fares earlier for $195.00 But since it is tomorrow, he has to pay premium prices. I can't agree with some of these policies.

What do you think?

You are so right! Compassion fares should be a lot cheaper. I think even cheaper than the earlier booked fares. I mean, come on... it's not like you can plan situations like this. Most people can't afford to jump on a plane and go someplace; it takes months of planning and saving. Just reading this made me feel sad and outraged that this is happening.

I think it's ludicrous that he had to pay that much.
Obviously there were empty seats on the plane or he wouldn't have gotten one. So if he didn't pay the $750. the plane would've taken off with an empty seat?
You didn't say if he booked a flight or not, if he didn't, can't you help him find a flight with another airline?
Or help him in anyway at all?
