I really don't think people lurk around the water cooler at work waiting for thier Muslim or Hindu co-worker to come by so they can with evil intention wish them a merry christmas. When someone wishes a person Merry Christmas it's almost as common and commercial as the holiday itself that time of year, and meant to be a good gesture, like good day.

Christamas hardly has any significant meaning anymore thanks to the big businesses so I think there is no harm in wishing someone a merry christmas.

It's merry to you and you're wishing someone else to be merry during christmas. The more we place emphasis around these small and silly things is the more we widen the gap of diversity negatively.

The real question is why one would care really. I know enough people that still say Merry Christmas and others that don't care if they hear it. Why you or anyone else gets their panties in a bunch for others wanting to be inclusive in their holiday greetings is beyond me. Just say Merry Christmas and move on with your lives.

Amazing that we have no problem publicly spitting on the streets and sidewalks or flipping each other off on the highways, yet when it comes to wishing someone a Merry Christmas, if it's not a holiday they happen to celebrate, we've offended. Perhaps if the greeter switched to "Happy Holidays," and the greetee took that chip off their shoulder and took the greeting as a wish of well being, we would be a much happier, peaceful, spit and finger-flippin' free society. People need to lighten up.

The people who don't like it don't even celebrate Christmas. They want to cause a stink about anything that has to do with Christianity. They say that Christianity and God offend them and the shouldn't have to be subjected to it while in public places. I think it is ridiculous. The stores like Target, Walmart etc. don't even have much religious oriented things out for Christmas. It's mostly Santa and the elves. How many stores have you seen with a nativity scene with a chair in it and someone depicting God sitting on the chair with the kiddies in his lap for pictures? Merry Christmas has always been said at Christmas. People that don't like it should walk on by. What good would changing to Happy Holidays do? Those people don't celebrate the holidays if they are Christan based.

PC is just a soft form of tyranny.

people who defend it will say stuff like "not all people believe in Jesus Christ or celebrate christmas" but they will never say "let's not have a mother's day cause not everyone has a mother".
it's all the leftists attempt to scrub any mention of Jesus or christianity from america.

Its not that they are PC it is that they are Anti-Christian.

How could saying Merry Christmas be thought of as un-PC?
