It is difficult that is why so many of the Philippine people work abroad. The income that the OSW's send home each month is critical to the economy of the Philippines. One respondant suggested an Internet Cafe and recently they had a special program on television showing the advantages of opening an Internet Cafe. Not many people in the Philippines have their on personal computer so Internet Cafes are well utilized. There are many franchise business you can take advantage of if you have the money. They have a 7-11 or Mini-Mart franchise for around $30,000. Foreigners cannot own more than 40 percent of any business in the Philippines. Many college grad's are working for $300 a month and $600 a month is a real good salary. Doctors in the government hospitals make $600 a month. I would suggest the best way to make a decent living in the Philippines is to start a small business and be self-employed. I have a friend that has a small rice/grocery store and he is bringing in a net profit of nearly $800 a month after three years. Keep in mind the cost of living is much cheaper in the Philippines.

Many ways of living in the Philippines if you just have money. You can put up an internet cafe, billiard bar is also a pretty good business. If you are not into business you can get a call center job or you can make a religion. its a good business in the Philippines.

well there are many people over there who own there own shop.. what you can do is.. when u pass by a small store u should ask if u can work for them for a little cash.. it should work ..i remember in the philippines my family owned a shop and none of us wanted to work there.. we always asked someone else to help us. and we can help them.. well good luck

i am having a good business since internet cafe is an "in" business nowadays... so i have this since june... and so far so good.....previously i was teaching in a university... not a big amount than i have now..... a good start for my life since i am still single...
