My boyfriend and I love playing video games, but we like working together instead of competing -- we want to each play a character and go through the game together. We had fun with Harry Potter Goblet of Fire but we beat it, so we need a new challenge for PC only. Any suggestions?

well, the only thing i could think of is Worms, which only use 1 computer. Nowadays, since internet and LAN had been widely used, games that only use 1 comp to play more than 1 player is rare, very rare. I don't even think there is any, except for arcades.
If you're lucky enough and get another comp, you could try out splinter cell, which requires full cooperation from your mate, but you could also play solo if you want. You might also try out Diablo 2, a RPG. Although its quite old but its fun.

If you want an on-line game and have 2 computers you may want to check out Runescape. You can interact with whomever you want and work alone or together doing quests and skills such as archery, fishing, cooking, combat, magic, mining, smithing, crafting, woodcutting, etc.
If you like those become a member and have lots of other skills opened up to you. We get on with our friends and family all the time and can private chat if we wish, also.

yes i can!!!!! and best part is its free!!! Its called runescape! its an online game with actualy people from around the world. you can do quests battle monsters and other players too. you can become a might warrior a stealthy ranger and a might mage and lots of other stuff too. not to mention you dont even have to download. you dont even have to give you email address to them pretty awsome. oo yea if do start playing runescape my username is kite421 im a lvl 84 warrior!!! see you on runescape hopefully.!!!!

those are fun Games...
But if you are playing on ONE computer only then...I don'y know how to help you.... I mostly play on LAN in computer cafes
