BCCI has not taken any steps to prepare wickets similar to foreign pitches. Indian players do not get practice on such pitches. Such pitches should be in abundance in various test centres and levels. So that the new talent gets enough practice on those pitches.
2nd aspect is the analysis of players, their technique and ways and means to alter, modify or improve so that they are improved players. Today the cricketers prepare themselves on their own. No BCCI support seems to be available. In one of my earlier answers I had felt the need to have a team of experts (real cricketers) containing batsmen and bowlers who can have a look at the technique of various players (already playing and those who are talented and are on the fringes). Such a team of experts would analyse the flaws in the technique, temperament and attitude and suggest ways and means to the players and the BCCI to improve.

I don't hate Cricket realy. Now a days i may be.
1. Indians are playing/praticing in INDIAN PITCHES only. Even though a Local Team vs Local team ( West bengal vs New delhi). They are not alowed play outside india. Ofcorse they may play outside india, but most of the indian cricketers make it Using/Spending/asking MORE MONEY, when they are going outside india. So, Now Indian cricketers don't want to spend more money OUTSIDE india for cricket. All they do is when they out they spend more to buy a FORIEGN CAR, etc., & avoide paying ***** to india etc.,
So indians do have knowledge of OTHER countries PITCHES, etc.,
Australia alows UNDER 18 team, etc., Teams to play outside their country. That's why they are Experienced whereever thay go play.

My dear friend,
There are many reasons. First 1 is now, our players are not in form and that is why we r loosing matches.
2. Our team is now young team and they don't have any experience of playing on bouncing pitches. Sachin have experience but he is not in form. Rahul was playing well but now he is out of team due to injury.
3. We don't have faster and well swing bowlers. Our team is young so they haven't any experience of bowling on south Africa's fast and bouncing pitches.
4. Another reason is we don't have any best players that can give match in one hand.
5 . We don't have all-rounders but SF has Pllack, Kallis which r world's best all rounder.
6. Our batting is depends only on Dravid, Sachin, DHoni and we don't have any other good batsman in deep that play well in last 5 overs.
7. And i think last reason is chapple.
These r the reasons but we can't say that India don't get win out side country because we get many trophies in abroad.

The pitches and conditions overseas are totally different as compared to the pitches and conditions in India. Most of our pl.ayers are used to play in the in the flat pitches in India where ball comes to bat nicely and stroke making is easy. AHowever, in the fast and bouncy pitches at overseas, there are lot of bounce and swing and Indian batsmen find it difficult to cope up with the short pitched rising deliveries at outstations. They do not get sufficient time to get adjusted to the pitches and conditions before the matches and as such they consistently fails. this is one of the main reason for poor performance of India overseas
