I would only use it if I wanted to take a survey.♥
It can be useful for those seeking relationship ideas...How do I ....??? type questions. You would get back a dozen or more opinions about the matter. The politics can be curious (?) as can the religeon section. The athiests and the true believers seem to have a face off going on. ♥
I have also found answers to questions I didn't know I needed to ask. several How tos that I have put in my watch list just like a bookmark.

I would not use this site for legal advice but I might use it to ask if others thought I should SUE or mediate if that were something I faced.
I think many people are just asking for recipies and other lighthearted things.
There are some very good people giving some great answers to questions. I think many times the answers are better than the question.

I've asked a few, but really, I google if its important, or I as a pro.
This is a convenient forum though and I'm addicted to answering question, and following some. And, if you just want a polling of opinions, why not here.

It would depend on the subject matter. For important things no I'd use google. I use this for entertainment mostly, but some of the posts make me think about things I might not otherwise or think about them in a different way.

It depends on the question, I like Yahoo answers to see if other people have the same feeling or the same illness and what do they think about it, but I would never trust a health question for example.

Not as a sole source. I definitely would post it in the appropriate category if I wanted a serious answer.

it depends what you want to know, i like to use it to get other peoples points of views on personal dilema's just to see how other people would handle the same thing, you don't have to take advice from strangers but sometimes it's good to know you're not way off if many people answer the same way.

Yes. I have had a couple of serious questions, and I got an actual answer to one of them.
