my ps2 is playing games fine and no problems or glithes during the actual playing time, however every time it comes to load it freezes and i hav to blow air into the back where the fan is in order to continue. what is wrong? i need help!

You may need to get a new fan, or get a can of compressed air and CAREFULLY unscrew the outter case and clean it.

You may also need to adjust the reading lens inside it.

I think it's just the fan wearing out and not being able to cool your ps2 sufficiently. You could try cleaning the fan out, since there might be a large dust deposit slowing it down, and if that doesn't work, just keep blowing or get it replaced.

If your system still has a warranty send it back to sony. But if not upon up cover and carefully clean fan and game lens. if you want step by step directions google {how to fix ps2 disk read error}

Erhm...Try changing the fan...But if u don't want to spend money...just keep on blowing!=D
