I would say no.

However most metals, even stainless will 'color' with age due to its contact with air.

The metal behind the sticker will not 'age' with the rest of the lighter so when you remove it in 10-15 years you will see where it was.

If its a collectible and you wish to store it you could find a friend with a food-saver type vacuum packing system and remove the 'air' and seal it before you store it.
These vacuum packers are quite strong so make sure you pack it well so you wont break the plastic packaging.
