Ohms refers to the resistance in the circuit. It means very little until you start to use separate heads/cabinets or need to replace a speaker.

If you DO use separate head cabinet (or need to replace a speaker) make sure impedances (ohms) match!

Ohms is the resistance in the output circuits for your amp. Important to use correct speakers (match the ohms) or you could damage the output transformers or power tubes.
