it really depends on the receipient of the gift and the giver. the value we give to gifts we receive vary depending on our beliefs and personalities.

I guess the only truly meaningful Christmas gifts would be gold, frankincense, and myrrh, the gifts the Marji brought to the Christ child. But since I did not see any myrrh in the Miles Kimball or Swiss Colony catalogs this year, I guess we will all have to settle for whatever is meaningful to the recipient. Jewelry, perfume, etc. Christmas is a great time to commemorate important. meaningful events , like our first Christmas together, or baby's first Xmas, or the first one away from the parents, or on your own, or counting the Xmases a couple has been celebrating together.
Merry Christmas!

Something not from their Christmas list. I'd go with getting something they are interested in, getting it in their favorite color, etc. Don't do things like gift cards either, they are very impersonal. If you know a person well enough it shouldn't be too hard. Hope this helped!

the best gifts are not asked for, they are from a person close enough to you to know what you like and what you need .... just the thought of a person taking the time to pick out a special gift that they know you would want or that reminded them of you ..
or they may even take the time to make it for you... the best gifts come from the heart and that's my opinion :)

Gifts that express that your really know the person...not simply giving a gift to cover your bases. Not all gifts are bought in a store or made...some gifts are written, time spend with another, words expressed . . . Some of the most precious gifts (any time of the year) have been memories of experiences heard, seen or felt. Gifts that touch the humor or heart...not just for the empty sake of gift giving.

meaningful xmas gifts are like any other special occasion, be thoughtful and considerate and really think about what would make that person happy(not you) cuz giving is all about the reciever(an your pocket change-don't go broke cuz then your doing too much).......here are some things to consider:is it good for them? will they be thankful for it? what are they interested in? will the gift(s) give them a good memory? will you be proud of yourself for how you influenced that day of their life?.......make it mean something special to them and you.
