While I like the triceratops, in this fictional battle, the rhino would win.

The trike may have three horns, but they can only be used in defensive measures and short strikes (a forceful running hit backed by the dinosaur's entire weight with its horns would actually hurt since they are bone and would break upon impact). The rhino can hits its target with its horn and suffer much less damage since the horn is actually compacted hair and can deliver a solid hit while charging.

Also, the rhino gets the edge with maneverability over the trike. While both are quite lumbering, the rhino could actually get a better gallop and move quicker to flank the dinosaur, which has exposed skin with little protection. The rhino's skin is thicker and heavier (where the idea of "armor" on this animal comes from).

With both offensive and defensive advantages favoring the rhinoceros, the triceratops would end up getting gored a few times before it knew what hit it.

Rhino is a mammal and is extant. Triceratops are(were) extinct reptiles. When triceratops lived there was no rhino. And when rhino are found, triceratops occur in books only.Hypothetically speaking, in a fight between the two, rhino being more intelligent than triceratops might score over.In fight intelligence also plays a role rather than sheer physical strength. You know that in general mammals are more intelligent than reptiles.A rhino, being a warm blooded mammal can outrun a triceratops, a reptile.Reptiles are cold blooded

yes definately, if their both in sizes then rhino will win over triceratops. & besides rhino's front horn is longer , thicker ,stronger than a triceratops eventhough triceratops has 3 horns ( 2 on the main head - left & right) before it gets close to a rhino, triceratops will be stabbed first.

clear?

No, a triceratops is a dinosaur and it has three horns and it's a huge giant version of the rhino which it would destroy the rhino simply by stepping on it like an egg shell.

In a physical set to, the triceratops, although there is no conceivable reason why they would fight, not being competitors for food, mates, territory.........

However, even though they are incredibly dumb creatures, the rhino would probably be the victor in say, a game of checkers.Stupid as he is, the rhino is still an Einstein by comparison.

Triceratops because they had a bigger version of the rhino back then and the Tri would take him out if he had to.

Triceratops. Use to be more than ten times bigger than a rhino. Like pitting an elephant against a pig.

I believe that the Triceratops would win because of it's height, strength and the good luck of having 3 horns instead of one or 2.
the rhino would be smaller in size and due to that, weaker as well. creatures smaller sometimes tend to be weaker then their ancestors before them. a triceratops would win big time!
