As an experienced breastfeeding mom...
Green stools usually just mean that he is getting more formilk than hindmilk. If it is just from formilk, you may notice that it is slimy/mucusy as well. It isn't anything to be concerned about. You can block feed, or just offer one breast at a feeding, instead of two.
Block feeding basically means, feed him with one breast until he is full. At the next feeding, offer him the same breast (your breasts will know what to do in regards to the amount of milk!) And at the feeding after that, switch to the other breast and repeat.
It could also be a sign that you are eating lots of veggies. Definitely not an issue :D

Besides having green stool, has your infant had other changes?
Is your infant more fussy, irritable, etc?
Has the consistency of the fecal matter changed as well?
My son has Gastrointestinal issues as an infant that got significantly worse around 2 months... His pediatrician gave me a gastric stimulant, but after 2 months of watching him get progressively worse, I took my son to Children's Hospital.
The staff at Children's Hospital put my son on Prilosec and changed his formula from soy to pre-digested formula (Enfamil Nutramigin). Within 48 hours, my son had a whole new "happy" personality.
As he got older, I tried to reintroduce milk into his diet... if I gave him too much milk, he would get green, mucus-like, watery stools, every 30-90 minutes for several weeks... According to the staff at Children's Hospital, milk would strip the lining from his intestines (whether or not this really happens, I do not know.... the staff may have just been trying to describe the condition in basic terms an average parent would understand/accept)... During such periods, I had to put my son on a meat, banana, white grape juice, and formula diet; no starches, no sugars, no fruits, no vegetables.....
If you do not wish to seek a second opinion, you may try the meat and banana diet for a few days/weeks to see if it has an effect....
Hope you can resolve the issue quickly!

My kids had a rainbow of colors when it came to their poop. Its normal don't worry. The color can sometimes depend on the food you have eaten, but it won't hurt your child, so don't worry and keep up the good work breastfeeding its the best thing you can do for him. Don't change anything that you are doing, and do not listen to those that advise you to take stuff or change your diet since it could harm your baby, especially herbal remedies that are not FDA approved for use by pregnant or nursing mothers.. Listen to your doctor!

Green stool can be a due to high amount of iron in one's system. vitamins taken or that the stool did not stay in the large intestine long enough to change to the brown color that we are familiar with. Stool is actually green at first in the small intestine. "In breast-fed babies, green stool is a normal occurrence, especially right after delivery"

Listen to your doctor. Babies' stool can change radically when you eat something different and especially when they do! They don't digest yet like we do so things come through. It's good to call your doctor and ask, but then, unless the baby is sick, don't worry. I don't think that avoiding dairy is unnecessary. It may be beneficial for you to eat more yogurt, to get more good bacteria for yourself and the baby!

You could check it out with a herbalist or homeopath
I would take Olive Leaf extract just to be sure to protect the baby, this would also help if parasites from pets was a problem
Yeast is bad and depressing, try flat bread or sour dough or yeast free.
Make sure that any chemical shampoo or detergent or air freshener or cleaning product is not coming through your milk. Use herbal / organic products - for everything even babies products.
Make sure you eat enough fresh greeens Or fruit (separate meals), otherwise your body and milk could be acid instead of pH balanced.

It is normal. The same thing happened with my baby. Your breasts develop different nutrients at different times so that is probably why...or your babys digestive track has matured a bit so that changed the color green is a perfectly normall color so stop worrying about things that arent even threatening for the babies health.
