Brian D may have put his finger on it if you've recently downloaded IE v.7
If you have upgraded then both of you should goto your Add/Remove programs in Control Panel and uninstall IE v.7. I'm told that IE v.6 should still be there and will restore itself if you were using it prior to downloading v.7

On a personal note, I've been swithering on whether or not to upgrade to v.7, but after trawling Yahoo Answers for the past couple of weeks and seeing the problems that v.7 has caused people, I've kept to good old v.6 and shall do so until I see the number of problems calm down a bit.

Anyway, give v.6 a try and see if that sorts things out for you. If it doesn't, try some of the Answers from these very helpful and capable people.

Best of luck, guys....

Maybe you should scan for spyware. Download the free anti-spyware from the link, update it and run a full system scan. If nothing comes out, then it might be happening due to pressure on memory.
