I would like to make money WHILE doing something I love. Then, again who doesn't? Anyway, I would like to do something in tourism since I want to live in a vacation spot by the beach. The thing is I want to move back to my native country and I was thinking maybe hotel management? Or a resort management? If I am not going to make that much money, then should I get a degree in business instead and be the owner? You see, I was thinking that I will need money to do this so if I get a degree in hotel or resort management then I can work and make some money and possibly start my own business than? Which will be a smarter move?

-Getting a degree in hotel or resort management?

or

-Getting a degree in business

I mean I definitely know that I want to do something with hotels and hot vacation spots. Thanks

I would recommend a degree in business. Gives you more options than specialising in just hotel management. You could always do a post graduate course in hotel management later.

You can get a joint one at UofH (university of Houston) through the School of Business and the Hilton School of Hotel Management.

Hello, Get a degree in Business and consisder an MBA as well. Don't worry you WILL do GREAT! When you are in college sometimes you change your mind alot so don't stress...even when you get out into the work force you may jump into something else as well!
