what is wrong with my BROTHER printer?

My BROTHER MUTIFUNCTION CENTER does not print. The CLD display a message like this: "machine error 41. Unplug machine, then call Brother". Anyone know what is wrong with it. please tell me. Thank you.

Yes, it is fried. The print head is gone.

Call Brother? You should be able to talk to a tech to see if there is anything else you can do.

If the printer is still under warranty, Brother has been replacing the defective print heads.

No warranty? Look for a new printer! (Brother has one of the worst reputations.)
