Is there a reason there's no "brown" looking avatar? I'm "browner" than the one I use but lighter than the next available option (which is like black black) Anyone else having the same ( yes I know very superficial) problem?
And I warned you it was stupid so don't give me hell for it...

Right I am Brown skinned but stuck at this high yellow girl Avatar because the next one is black, black, So I guess the creators of these Avatars think you are either High yellow or Black as chocolate? Nobody told them we come in all shades of brown....

Yeah I've noticed. It's mildly aggravating; the aim avatars chibi things are like that too. I don't know why for anything that comes in a color option can't have a color spectrum slide option instead of pick one of four colors. I can then be purple. Or tourqouise.

at first i was like "yeah good question" , just like the other people.
but then i started thinking, what if their is a reason. It might be that color contrast may be too hard to pick out with a nice medium brown, therefore almost pointless. I mean they are kind of small, and not much room for detail. Just a guess.

Inbetween brown...? lol you people are shady. The avatars are not meant to be 99.999998 percent accurate. You are proud to be African -american or 'coloured' so doesn't a shade of brown suffice enough whether it's black as hell or light brown...God Grow up..how many shades of white are on the avatar selection?
(rolls eyes) why did I even answer this negative superficial question. I'm sure the people at Yahoo were aware there atleast 20 million idfferent shades of brown, but it would be damn near impossible to please us all..maybe they can throw in another brown if it would REALLY be that important.
I used a darker colour brown because the next one down looked too white!! Why isn't there a more yellow brown colour for me I'm black..well atleast half.!! woe is me woe is me!!! WOE IS MEEE!!

O-KAY! and why are there no distinctive ethnic features? And why do the braids look like boo boo- all spaced apart and stuff? And why does every hairstyle look so "Caucasian"? but i have NEVER seen a black person!
all are just different shades of brown!
ok this may be the computer age, but there is a point where you just cant always get what you want ....i haent seen the right shade of white for me either! why cause im not white!
sweetie....here is a belief i have ...and i strongly live everyday by...
the only stupid question is the one that was never asked!
peel off the first couple of layers of skin and you wil see we all are ..ahh crappers all different shades of red!

Haha I have always wondered the same thing, they really don't have a wide variety of skin tones to choose from, so I just stuck with the really dark one even though I'm not that dark.

lol. Yeah i hear you. I'm in between too, im not even close to looking like the real light one, but at the same time, the one i have now, is way darker than my actual complexion.

We must be the same shade of brown because I've had that same problem. I think we have more shades of color then any other. Afterall, how many shades of white are there?
