I Am Looking Into Buying A Ipod But I Was Wondering If It Will Hold Any Kind Of Mp3's Like The Ones You Download ... Or Will It Only Support The Music Downloaded From The Ipod Store ?

It will support MP3s and MP4s. Mp3s are the ones you get on itunes music library and the ones that you can download from other music sharing sources! The mp4s are from cds. If you put a cd into your cd drive and copy it to your itunes then it will be in mp4 format mostlikely!

From what i have heard ipod will not play songs downloaded from napster. Creative makes mp3 players that are similiar in selection, features and price to ipod but also have a built in fm radio. Shop around before buying an ipod. Just because it is the name you hear all the time doesn't mean it is the best.

of course it will ,i had the same doubt 2 yres ago but an ipod is a mp3 playerand will play the songs downloaded from the internet

No, you don't have to just download it from the ipod store...You can actually use systems like Limewire to download free music.

As long as it's in mp3 format it will work... and most digital music is. Just don't get stuff in WMA format.

From what ive heard you have to use itunes. limewire just screws up your computer so don't use it. mp3 players are better!!
