Sounds like a rash or allergy. Use only white cotton underware. My upper legs would get raw in the heat so I used Diaperene and that worked great.
An old fashioned remedy was to make a paste using a little water and corn starch. Corn starch was also used in diapers before all these modern products were on the market.
I say white underware because you could be allergic to the dye. My husband was allergic to the dye used in the socks by the Navy. He was under doctors orders to wear white cotton socks only (MPs were always stopping him for being out of uniform).
Avoid nylon type underware because it also can be an irritant.
Last, if it doesn't start to clear up in a few days, you will definitely need to see your doctor

Well, see a Doc is my first advice.
In the meantime, consider; did you use a new soap?
Anything New come in contact with that area?
Im no expert, but what you describe sounds like herpes.
Not being an expert, I cannot tell you if this could have been transmitted from your parents.
Either way, you really do need to see a Doctor.
Until you bite the bullet and go to the Doc, try Cortizone Cream, it is over the counter. While you are in the pharmacy, see if you can get a quiet consultation with a Pharmacist.
Good luck, and DONT SCRATCH.

you may be allergic to something has anything changed that you know of in the past couple of days maybe a different kind of fabric softener is being used on your cloths. there is also a chance you could have been bitten by something ex: a spider. or if you shaved down there for the first time thats what will happen. if gets worse see a doctor, or doesnt go away or lessen by the middle of next week. cortazone is for skin irratition its over the counter you could try that but be carefull not to get into your opening

Most probably a yeast infection. A doctor would prescribe antibiotics. If you want to treat yourself, try a vinegar and lemon juice douche. Drink plenty of water (to flush your system) and juices (for vitamin C). An over-the-counter cream called "Vagisil" will give very good relief for the burning/stinging.
It might also be an allergic reaction to food, cleaning products, or toiletries. If you can figure out anything new you ate or used, eliminate it. Follow the same procedure given above. Hopefully, it should clear up in a few days to a week or so.

Sounds to me like friction has caused a rash. You need cream with cortisone or something similar. Apply the cream twice daily (before bed and on waking up in the morning) and keep away from contact with other body parts. If unavoidable try to put a cotton cloth between, so that rash isn't touching skin. Don't keep touching it. Keep having regular showers. It will go away.
