Song on Sci-Fi's "Eureka"?

i was watching the doomsday episode the other day and there was a cover version of Barry MacGuire's "Eve of Destruction" on it..it was like a punk version..anybody know the artist?? any help is greatly appreciated

I think it's The Dickies. They covered it and they are a punk band. I haven't seen that episode though.
