All ants are "poisonous" in that they secrete formic acid through their mandibles. However the concentration is far too weak for an ant to cause harm to a human. It's conceivable that many thousands of ants could do so, but the human would have to be comatose or unconscious to begin with.

The most dangerous in the world would be my Aunt Grace----she is a REAL b**** on wheels!!

One of the most dangerous ants is the Bulldog ant of Australia and New Zealand which lack the biting mouth parts but actually sting their victims and they can deliver several stings. The venom causes allergic reactions. Fire Ants of the American Southeast and other areas is also capable of serious bites but they use their mouth parts to inject a considerable amount of formic acid. Army ants while very destructive are dangerous only in large numbers.
